About the Lodge

Responsibilities
As a member of the nursery team you will
- Deliver the EYFS curriculum, ensuring a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children.
- Work closely with other staff to provide a stimulating, safe and caring learning environment appropriate to each child’s needs.
- Maintain staffing ratios during nursery opening hours (7.30am to 6.00pm) on a rota that allows flexibility during the day.

Mon‑Fri throughout the year on a rota that ensures staffing ratios during nursery opening hours. Flexible within the 7.30am–6.00pm window where required.
Salary and Benefits
- Full‑time Nursery Assistant (Vacancy1) starting salary £24,784.50 per annum, dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
- Part‑time positions to be discussed at interview and proportionate to hours worked.
- Apprentice salaries paid at the National Living Wage during first year and funded by the Apprenticeship Levy; second year salary within the full‑time range.
- 28 days’ paid holiday each year (including bank holidays) plus 5 days of paid time off when the nursery is closed in August and Christmas (total 33 days).

- Eligibility & Requirements
