Hours of Work
21.5 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (Term Time, INSET days plus 10 additional days during school holidays). One of the days to be worked must be a Thursday.

Role Overview
Ipswich High School is looking for a part‑time Science Technician to work across our Science Department, primarily in chemistry. The successful candidate will provide a high level of technical assistance to teaching staff, supporting the delivery of the curriculum up to A Level.

Qualifications & Experience
- Science‑related degree, or A Levels in at least one science subject (A Levels essential for those without a degree).
- Working knowledge and interest in Science.
- Previous technician experience desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teaching staff with chemistry laboratory operations and safety.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and chemicals.
- Support curriculum delivery up to A Level.
