The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive administrative support, including organising meetings, diary management and room bookings, minute taking and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate property records and input and update data on relevant property and asset management systems.
Ipswich Borough Council is seeking a highly organised and proactive Property Administrator to provide administrative support to our Property Services Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a varied environment and contributing to the effective management of council-owned land and property.
As Property Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of property projects and programmes across the Council. You will provide day-to-day administrative support and maintain accurate property records.
Build effective working relationships with colleagues across the Property Service Team and work collaboratively to understand the wider service context and help shape the function to meet changing customer demands. You will need to demonstrate that you are organised, can work as part of a team, methodical with a passion for Ipswich and its buildings. Able to work under pressure, follow documented procedures and escalations of any issues that you encounter.
It would be desirable that the candidate has an understanding of commercial property management, although it is not essential. Several types of application software are used, and full training will be given, however it is essential that candidates are confident using Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of 2 days per week working in the office).
