Overview

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Officer to join our busy marketing team. You’ll play a key role in raising the profile of Ipswich Borough Council and its group companies by supporting the delivery of innovative marketing campaigns and activities. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Business Partner, you’ll help coordinate a wide range of projects across multiple brands, using the full marketing mix to engage audiences and achieve organisational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling engaging content across social media channels
  • Creating assets and copy for campaigns and communications
  • Assisting with campaign planning and delivery
  • Producing and sending email newsletters
  • Supporting the execution of wider marketing plans
  • Copywriting for a variety of platforms
  • Collating data and preparing reports to measure campaign success

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of at least one day a week in the office. Core hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required to support events and campaigns.

Hours and benefits

Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
