The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

You will act as the main point of contact between the Maintenance and Contracts team, council tenants, contractors and other Ipswich Borough Council departments. The post will act as the Council’s Customer Liaison Officer for all tenants and leaseholders as part of the general needs fire safety programme to 3,200 flats (circa 350 blocks) including 413 leaseholders and play a role in fire safety improvements across our Sheltered Schemes and Homelessness Families Units.

As the Customer Liaison Officer, you will be expected to communicate with various stakeholders both verbally and in writing and hold face to face meetings and ‘coffee’ mornings with tenants. You will also be expected to provide regular updates, deal with complaints and visit our tenants and leaseholders during and after works. Customer feedback is very important to the Council, therefore you will be responsible for distributing customer satisfaction questionnaires, so it is important tenants are communicated to on a regular basis, are listened to and can act swiftly when concerns are raised.

You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in English and Maths and have proven customer services experience. Hours of work are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday and you will be based at Layard House, 11 New Way, Ipswich, IP2 0BX.
