An exciting opportunity has become available to join our successful Revenues Team as a full‑time Assistant Revenues and Inspection Officer. The Revenues Team is responsible for administering Council Tax, Non‑Domestic Rates, and Housing Benefit Overpayments across our three partner Local Authorities. Based at Grafton House, Russell Road, Ipswich, with opportunities for hybrid working, you will play a key role in supporting the Revenues Team.
- Maintaining Direct Debit payments
- Tracing non‑payers
- Processing and reviewing system‑generated reports
- Providing general administrative and operational support to the Revenues Team
We are looking for someone who has:
- GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications
- Experience using email, word processing, and spreadsheet software
- The ability to organise, prioritise, analyse information, and work independently
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- A flexible, positive, and proactive attitude
- Experience using Revenues and Benefits software systems is desirable
This is a full‑time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
