About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team in Aldershot as a PPM Maintenance Scheduler (MoD). You will be responsible for the management and delivery of pre-planned maintenance and minor works activities, inclusive of planning and resourcing of labour, ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to. Production of both RAMS and SSoW client dependent. Arrange the procurement and delivery of materials to site inclusive of checking all quotations as required and ensuring works are completed in the most efficient manner, and in compliance with Health and Safety legislations.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling PPM, reactive and quoted tasks for internal engineers (and appropriate verified subcontractors where applicable) providing a professional and comprehensive service to all clients.
- Ensuring tasks are planned and completed within client target response SLA (whilst also being aware of the balance between achievement and cost implications) when considering engineers routes and skill sets.
- Planning maintenance to comply with legal requirements and customers convenience.
- Liaise with Project Managers/Engineers for proposed dates of any works.
- Attend weekly planning meetings with the operational management team to highlight and discuss any planning issues and review engineers workload to keep non-productive time to a minimum.
- Report any concerns regarding SHEQ to the Head of SHEQ Power and your Line Manager.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate job status to QS/GM.
- Monitor work progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Create and maintain comprehensive work documentation, RAMS, SSoW, plans and reports.
- Arrange engineers to take photos of site for the database to assist future site visits.
- Provide management reporting information on unproductive work/travel time and provide details on the unproductive time root cause analysis.
About you:
Previous experience in scheduling of works is essential, ideally within the Electrical/Power/Utilities industry an advantage. NVQ level 2 English and Maths or equivalent. Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation and dealing with clients and supply chain. Good understanding of MS Office suite.
