About The Role
Due to growth, we are looking for Lining Engineers to join our growing teams in the Midlands! At Ipsum, our vision is to be the leading customer service-focused provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions, operating on both public and private networks.
As a Lining Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving drainage systems, ensuring the efficient operation of essential services for our communities. This is a full-time permanent role with the opportunity to grow and develop your career.
As a Lining Engineer you will
- Carrying out patching work on drainage systems using RSM Sewertronics UV system.
- Assessing pipe conditions and analyzing results to determine appropriate repair methods.
- Producing high-quality reports detailing work carried out and recommendations.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaising with clients and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
About You
This role is suitable for a self-motivated individual with a full UK driving licence and certifications in high-pressure jetting and confined space entry. You will be a problem solver with fantastic attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team. Some weekend and night work with flexible shifts is possible. Experience in Utilities or Drainage is preferred, with a full UK driving licence and self-motivation. Ideally you would have experience in working on a patching rig, using a lining kit and cutting equipment. NRSWA Streetworks is required, along with cards such as Water Hygiene and Banksperson training. Candidates eager to learn will also be considered.
