About the role…

Ipsum Water is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to support our operations across London and the South East.

Reporting to the Project & Planning Managers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engineers, technicians, vehicles, plant, and equipment, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of customer service.

This is a key leadership role where you will carry out site audits, monitor operational performance, support workforce development, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

  • As an Operations Supervisor you will…
  • Manage the daily activities of engineers and technicians across multiple sites.
  • Oversee vehicles, plant, equipment, and operational issues arising from site activities.
  • Monitor team performance against Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safe systems of work are followed.
  • Carry out frontline people management activities including return-to-work interviews and investigations.
  • Ensure vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained and operated correctly.
  • Implement and monitor company policies, procedures, and improvement plans.
  • Ensure incidents, accidents, and near misses are reported and investigated appropriately.
  • Work with management teams to coordinate and plan operational
