Location: Chesterfield – Office based role

Employment type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

About the role…

Responsible for coding site surveyed CCTV pipe inspections to OS19X standards in office using Wincan VX, carrying out quality control procedures on site coded surveys and feeding back to operatives using WRC accepted methods, ensuring that all information supplied to both colleagues and clients is accurate, of a good quality and available in a timely manner.

Data compliance activities to ensure the efficient and effective transitions through the processing stages using relevant software applications including CCTV data systems, Microsoft Excel, and GIS software (Mapinfo, InfoAsset).

Principle Accountabilities

  1. Administration

    • Receiving works from site
    • Maintaining records to update job status
    • Working in conjunction with the operational side of the business
    • Preparing presentation of deliverables including reports
    • Data entry and updates using Excel, Access and all related software applications
  2. OS19X certified coding and analysis

    • Able to create OS19X 5th edition databases using site video files using Wincan VX (or similar software)
    • Able to populate header fields using site schedules and annotated plans using Wincan VX (or similar software)
    • Code site video files to OS19X 5th edition standards in Wincan VX (or similar software)
    • Carry out Quality Control procedures of a sampling of site coded (OS19X 5th edition) reports.
    • Maintain Quality Control evidence and report findings to operations
  3. Technical Analysis

    • Maintain systems (recording, process, archiving)
    • Carrying out validation procedures
    • Analyse and resolve or report anomalies
    • Use CCTV data software to update information
    • Use GIS software as required
    • Following client specifications as necessary
    • Update confidential commercial information
  4. Assisting in the planning and preparation of site work

    • Using software applications to produce plans
    • Producing schedules

About you…

Skills and knowledge of relevant software applications including CCTV data systems, Microsoft Excel, and GIS software (Mapinfo, InfoAsset).

Analysing data, identifying patterns or issues and providing explanatory notes. Working closely with and supporting the operational aspects of the business to assist as required, ensuring the smooth running of the site works.

A Level 3 or higher IT-related qualification is desirable, along with some knowledge of data analysis and processing principles. Experience with data analysis, general office administration, interpreting maps and plans, and using CCTV data systems would also be beneficial.
