About the role…
Provide effective administrative support across the whole office, assisting with day-to-day office activities, records, communications and general coordination to help ensure efficient, compliant and professional operations. The role will also support the Purchasing Administrator when required, helping with purchasing-related administration and associated tasks to maintain service delivery for internal teams and clients.
As an Admin Apprentice you will…
- Work as part of the office administration function to support the smooth running of the office and help teams across the business.
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide general administrative support across the office, including call handling, email correspondence, filing, scanning, data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with the coordination of office activities and day-to-day administration to support efficient operations and effective communication between teams.
- Support the preparation, submission and updating of reports, completion evidence and other documentation, ensuring clients and internal systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support for operational requirements such as booking vehicles into disposal sites, submitting hotel or subsistence requests, arranging equipment hire and supporting engineer liaison where required.
- Support the Purchasing Administrator when required, including raising or processing purchase-related documentation, obtaining information, updating records and following up with suppliers or internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and archive compliance documents and office records, including waste transfer notes and other relevant paperwork, in line with company processes.
- Assist colleagues and departments whenever necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support wider office priorities.
