We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team at Ipsum in Barnham, Thetford.

About The Role

As a Project Coordinator you will support the Project Managers with all administrative duties and ensure all works are compliant with respect to Project Delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process information and ensure deadlines are met to support contract delivery.
  • Support the scheduling of project programmes and resource booking, including utility mapping (e.g., Digdat, BT Fibre).
  • Update Project Managers on key information and provide monthly reporting to UKPN.
  • Continuously improve systems and process mapping/capture.
  • Manage shared inbox queries and raise jobs in ILJ/BC.
  • Co‑ordinate operational escalation and communications, including carding coordination and managing shutdown notification processes.
  • Raise purchase orders and reconcile invoices and queries.
  • Assist the Project Managers in preparing quotations, including sub‑contractor liaison and raising purchase orders.
  • Provide commercial support to the Project Managers and the Commercial department – ILJ, BC – including resource booking requests and measures of work completed.
  • Support performance monitoring of the work programme to ensure efficient delivery of the plans.

About You

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the Utilities / Power / Construction industry, is advantageous. You have a good level of administrative experience and knowledge of Streetworks Noticing and Hiring of Plant.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Administration or equivalent
  • Secondary education minimum GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Full UK driving licence is required
