About the role…
As a Business Analyst, you will join the IT team and play a key role in driving the development and optimisation of systems and products across the business. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, gathering and translating business requirements, and delivering enhancements that maximise the value of IT systems. Working closely with stakeholders, you will help refine processes, support operational efficiency, and ensure systems effectively meet the evolving needs of Ipsum.
As a Business Analyst you will…
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and drive system improvements
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear user stories and deliverables
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog in line with Agile principles
- Work closely with IT teams and third-party partners to deliver system enhancements
- Develop and contribute to product roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to influence change and drive efficiencies
About you…
You will ideally hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, along with demonstrable experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. You will bring a strong understanding of product management across UX, technical, and business domains, and have experience working within fast-paced Agile environments using modern project management tools.
A solid awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle, DevOps principles, data modelling concepts, and integration methods such as APIs is important, alongside the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all levels. You will be a proactive self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout.
