We have a fantastic opportunity to join the RJ Power / Ipsum Team in Sidcup, London. You'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing stores, company assets, stock, and site facilities in a safe, efficient, and well-organised environment.
As a Stores Person you will be:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the stores and warehouse.
- Controlling stock levels, goods in/out, stock movements, and stock takes.
- Maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring tools and equipment are tracked, inspected, and available when needed.
- Coordinating facilities activities, including maintenance, supplies, security, cleaning, and workplace standards.
- Supporting health and safety compliance, warehouse housekeeping, and risk management.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure operational needs are met.
Experience in stores, warehouse, stock control, or inventory management is required, along with:
- Knowledge of goods in/out, stock control, and asset management.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and asset or inventory management systems.
- A good understanding of health and safety and manual handling practices.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Stores, warehousing, or inventory management qualification.
- Forklift or manual handling certification.
- Experience producing MI reports.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime opportunities available.
