About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Haydock, with occasional travel to our other sites. You will be supporting the Contracts Manager, Project Managers and Field Managers with all administrative duties and to ensure all works are compliant with respect to Project/Works Delivery.
This position would be ideal if you have a keen interest in the Power and Construction Industry and you’re looking to start your career with a company that has a fantastic reputation within the industry. You will have a degree within Business Management and/or Quantity Surveying.
As a Project Support Graduate you will:
- Accurately process information and ensure deadlines are met.
- Participate in attaining and maintaining company certification systems.
- Suggest corrective actions to any non-compliance and assist the Contracts Manager with liaising with Project Manager(s) & Field Manager(s) to issue for quoting and oversee the PO process.
- Client interfaces – receive projects and raise Ipsum job on Ipsum Live Jobs.
- Assist Project Manager(s) & Field Manager(s) in preparing quotations.
- Sub contract liaison and potential raising of purchase orders with preparation, production, and quality checking of work packs.
- Assist with the commercial support to the Project Manager(s) & Field Manager(s) and the Commercial department and performance monitoring of the work programme to ensure efficient delivery of the plans.
- Reporting of process management data and supporting with customer interactions.
About you:
Secondary education minimum GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English and working towards a Degree Level Qualification in either Business Management or Quantity Surveying. Previous administrative experience would be advantageous and experience of Construction or Utilities works would be beneficial (preferable).
