The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Based from one of our South West sites, you will be part of a skilled team of operatives undertaking all civil engineering tasks primarily associated with drainage works but including all works required of our client contracts. You will be responsible for undertaking all jobs competently and safely in a professional manner ensuring safe working practices whilst instilling client confidence in our company's abilities.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ensure compliance with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment.
  • Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
  • Ensure all site related incidents are reported.
  • Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
  • Responsible for producing high quality results, reports, and feedback.
  • Establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues with early resolution of any potential problems.

You need to be flexible too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and out-of-hours working across the UK.

Desirable Qualifications & Professional Membership(s):

  • First Aid at Work.
  • Towing Licence.
  • Manual & Mechanical Excavations.
  • Plant & Machinery Operation.
  • Confined Spaces.
  • Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment.
  • Professional, customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning.
  • Working knowledge & commitment to Health and Safety.
  • Technical knowledge and competency with regard to drainage excavation and repair.
  • Experience in building collaborative relationships with existing and new employees and suppliers.
