You will manage multidisciplinary teams across a diverse portfolio and steer projects from design to reporting. This is a chance to influence policy insights within a leading global research organisation. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 25 days annual leave /li li pension contribution /li li income protection /li li life assurance /li li health wellbeing benefits /li li flexible working options /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Design and deliver economic studies, appraisals and evaluations from inception through reporting /li li Develop theories of change, evaluation frameworks, and mixed-method designs /li li Conduct or oversee cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness, and value-for-money analyses /li li Assess value for money using NAO 4Es and Green Book principles /li li Integrate quantitative and qualitative evidence to form actionable recommendations /li li Manage clients, teams, budgets, risks, and deadlines /li li Draft reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, support proposals and client development /li li Lead projects and major workstreams at Associate Director level, ensuring technical quality and client relationships /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Substantial experience of applied economic research, appraisal or evaluation for public sector clients or within the public sector /li li Strong understanding of economic evaluation and proportionate methods for complex policy questions /li li Experience with cost-benefit or cost-effectiveness analysis and assessing value for money (economy, efficiency, effectiveness, equity) /li li Ability to quantify economic outcomes (GVA, productivity, employment, additionality, distributional effects) /li li Experience managing projects, clients, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, risks and priorities /li li Ability to translate complex evidence into clear reports and recommendations /li li Degree-level economics training or equivalent practical experience /li li For Associate Director: experience directing complex evaluations, assuring technical quality, leading proposals and client development /li /ul ul li Client management and relationship building /li li Clear communication of complex findings to diverse audiences /li li Coach and develop colleagues /li li Stata /li li R /li li Python /li /ul
