As a Research Manager in Brand Health Tracking at Ipsos, you will play a key role in leading and delivering our largest global brand health measurement programme led out of the UK. You will be joining at the inception stage, giving you the chance to make your mark on an innovative global programme covering over 20 markets, and giving you exposure to the latest technology in data collection and data delivery processes.
In this role, you will have direct client contact and will contribute to landing the new programme’s insights tools within the client’s local and global organisations. You will leverage your expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, and project management to guide junior executives and offshore teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the programme.
Day to Day
These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation, this may vary as different opportunities arise:
- You’ll manage the end-to-end research processes of a large global tracking programme across multiple markets.
- You will work as part of a large team of onshore and offshore team members and be directly responsible for getting client sign-off on research materials, managing script checking, translations, fieldwork launch, overseeing data quality protocols and using automated tools to build dashboards and PowerPoint reports.
- You’ll take full ownership of specific client deliverables, building strong client relationships, delivering and supporting on client engagement sessions (training, debriefs etc.), supported by talented directors.
- You’ll work alongside internal operations teams to get the best data for our clients, providing them with clear specifications and instructions, and ensuring that these are met.
- You’ll also supervise and provide guidance to more junior members of the team, including graduates.
- You will review and ensure the quality of all project materials and deliverables, including questionnaires, data files, dashboards, reports, and presentations.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Proven track record of success in market research, with experience in managing projects and client relationships within various industries including FMCG.
- A passion for brand strategy and experience in working on large global brand tracking programme(s).
- Experience in creating and reviewing materials for clients, such as analysis specs, questionnaires and PowerPoint reports.
- Solid research skills including questionnaire & study design, project processes, sampling and basic analytical techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Practical experience using AI-powered tools for research tasks, including data analysis platforms and automation tools.

The Brand Health Tracking Service Line helps clients manage their in-market brands in terms of monitoring health and making sure they are on the right course. Clients have their own sales data, we provide them with brand affinity data to understand how people feel about the brand and its competitors longitudinally.
