Job Description:
Join our Global Data Management Tower (GDMT), the core of Ipsos\’ global data strategy. We are seeking a skilled Implementation Engineer to expand and enhance our data pipeline and architecture. In this vital role, you will design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable, cloud-based data pipelines. A key responsibility will be to deploy and maintain our internally developed Python data processing library, ensuring it meets the highest standards. You will ingest and assemble data from diverse sources using SQL and Python, provide crucial training and support to our data processing teams, and continuously improve our infrastructure. Collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders, you will drive the standardization of tools and lead the migration of code into production, ensuring our data assets are leveraged to maintain Ipsos’ competitive advantage.
About you:
Essential skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries, including Pandas.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (specifically BigQuery).
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Proficiency in AI use and adoption to enhance data processes.
