Make Your Mark at Ipsos. Ipsos is running an exciting and ground-breaking study to measure and understand the different types of media people enjoy. Alongside our technology partners, we have developed an automated electronic media monitoring system that passively measures what people like to watch on TV, listen to on radio, and app/web use through installation of software on their devices.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of this team, using both qualitative (e.g., communication with the panel members) and quantitative (e.g., managing and analyzing media consumption data) research methods. You would contribute significantly to understanding audience behaviours and preferences, providing data invaluable for clients to tailor their media strategies effectively. The role will suit someone who enjoys communicating with a diverse set of people, solving problems, and is interested in mobile computer technology. Responsibilities such as ensuring the panel's smooth operation and resolving any issues require precise attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

By recruiting a large, representative panel of people and asking them to install the software, we can provide a robust measurement of media consumption across different media types. This data will help inform clients' ongoing media and communication strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Being responsible for the quality and smooth running of the panel.
  • Carrying out daily processes.
  • Problem solving.
  • Communicating both internally with the Ipsos teams and externally with the panel members.
About You
  • Confident in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) – intermediate to advanced levels, able to interrogate data quality, use VLOOKUPs, create lists, pivot tables and reports, and perform simple sums.
  • Numerical competence – strong math skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable and confident speaking on the phone to members of the public.
  • Problem-solving – a structured and logical approach.
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail.
  • A keen interest in consumer mobile and computer technology.
  • Previous experience of market research software systems desirable (full training and support will be provided).
Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you as an individual. Our standard benefits include 25 days annual leave, pension contribution, income protection and life assurance, along with a range of health & wellbeing, financial benefits and professional development opportunities. We are committed to flexible working and will consider applications – please highlight your preferences. We have a hybrid approach, asking staff to be in the office or with clients for 3 days per week.
