We are a leading global market research company, enabling organisations to make smarter, bolder, and faster decisions. In this role you will be the operational backbone for HR within your service lines, creating a positive employee experience and ensuring HR services run smoothly and compliantly. You will protect data integrity, enable accurate payroll and benefits administration, support onboarding and right-to-work compliance, and surface people insight that helps managers make better decisions. You will also act as an ambassador for HR functions — handling sensitive information, partnering with HR Advisors and business stakeholders, and taking ownership of small projects that improve how we work.

You will own end-to-end onboarding for new hires in your service lines, ensure all employee records and payroll inputs are accurate in our HRIS, and deliver weekly induction sessions that help new colleagues settle quickly and feel part of the Ipsos culture.

The Role

  • Ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience (right-to-work checks, contract setup, induction coordination) so new starters are productive from day one.
  • Maintain and improve HR data quality across iTalent, payroll systems and trackers; proactively surface inaccuracies and resolve them.
  • Partner with HR Advisors, HR Business Partners and managers to support employee lifecycle activity (changes, promotions, leavers, absences) and act as a reliable administrative point of contact.
  • Produce and format routine HR reports and dashboards (using HRIS and Excel) that provide timely insight into attrition, diversity and other core metrics.
  • Coordinate and support weekly HR inductions, take minutes for key meetings, and maintain Intranet content and guidance pages so colleagues have access to clear, up-to-date information.
  • Support and eventually take ownership of small, focused HR projects (process improvements, data cleanup, policy rollouts), including independent research and stakeholder engagement.
  • Use AI tools to streamline repetitive admin tasks and improve the clarity and presentation of reports and communications.
  • Respond to employee and manager queries with a service-first approach, escalating complex issues to HR Advisors as appropriate.

About You

We encourage diversity of thought so we look for candidates who are as diverse as the societies, markets and people we work with. Therefore we are looking for:

  • Essential: Strong administrative and organisational skills; able to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
  • A strong aptitude for learning new software and databases. Comfortable navigating new technology to manage records accurately.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with good spreadsheet skills for reporting.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly numerate and comfortable handling sensitive data, with a strong willingness to learn about payroll processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with, or a keen interest in, using AI-powered tools (e.g., during your studies) to improve efficiency, streamline tasks, and enhance outputs.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas) and experience building formatted reports.
  • A genuine interest in the market research or professional services industry, and an enthusiasm for working within a diverse, global, and multi-site organisation.
  • Formal HR qualification (e.g., CIPD) or relevant training.
  • Experience analysing data or creating reports, coupled with a strong interest in applying these skills to 'people analytics' and HR dashboards.
  • Project coordination or small project management experience.
