As a Senior Research Executive in Brand Health Tracking at Ipsos, you will play a key role in delivering our largest global brand health tracking programme led out of the UK. This is a recent project win and therefore you will be joining at the inception stage, giving you the chance to make your mark on an innovative global programme covering over 20 markets, and giving you exposure to the latest technology in data collection and data delivery processes.
As a senior research executive, you will join a large account team and collaborate effectively to manage and deliver multiple waves of research across multiple markets, ensuring all processes are implemented to ultimately deliver quality insights to our client. You will contribute to decisions on research methodologies, data analysis, and project management and act as a guide to junior executives and offshore teams, keeping an eye on the overall success of the programme.
Day to day
These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation, this may vary as different opportunities arise:
- Support the smooth implementation of the end-to-end processes within the programme across multiple markets.
- Work as part of a large team of onshore and offshore team members and be directly responsible for getting client sign-off on research materials, managing script checking, translations, fieldwork launch, overseeing data quality protocols and using automated tools to build dashboard and PowerPoint reports.
- Take full ownership of specific client deliverables, delivering and supporting on client engagement sessions (training, debriefs etc), supported by talented managers and directors.
- Work alongside internal operations teams to get the best data for our clients, providing them with clear specifications and instructions and ensuring that these are met.
- Supervise and provide guidance to more junior members of the team, including graduates.
- Review and ensure the quality of all project materials and deliverables, including questionnaires, data files, dashboards, reports, and presentations.
About You
These are the areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Proven track record of success in market research, with experience in managing projects and client relationships, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- A passion for brand strategy and experience in working on large global brand tracking programme(s).
- Experience in creating and reviewing materials for clients, such as analysis specs, questionnaires and PowerPoint reports.
- Solid research skills including questionnaire & study design, project processes, sampling and basic analytical techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to grapple with complexity and problem-solve.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to multi-task and work towards multiple deadlines.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using data visualisation and dashboard tools like SPSS, Excel, Harmoni Infotools or similar.
- Practical experience using AI-powered tools for research tasks, including data analysis platforms and automation tools.
