Make your mark at Ipsos. Ipsos is recruiting for a senior commercially driven sales lead who will self-start to accelerate Ipsos’ programmatic revenue. As our Activation Sales Lead, you will build and manage the sales pipeline from outreach to close by leveraging our proprietary audience insights across agencies, brands and publishers. The Role… This role sits in our UK Audience Measurement team who work with an enviable roster of clients across publishers, agencies, brands, JICs and government bodies. The initial focus of this role is promoting and selling audience segments from our owned assets, namely Ipsos iris and Ipsos Global influentials. These syndicated solutions are used by the industry to deliver actionable insights that support the sales, planning and buying process. A large part of Ipsos’ business is running proprietary research for clients so there are opportunities to leverage client specific research for activation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue: Own activation revenue and deliver against targets.
- Pipeline management: Work across the sales pipeline to generate and qualify leads, and close in a timely using advantageous sales techniques.
- Winning relationships: Identify, grow and nurture beneficial relationships across buy/sell side and ad tech to ensure we are best placed to receive and win campaign briefs.
- Go-to-market strategy: Define and execute the commercial sales strategy for Ipsos audience segments.
- Evangelize Ipsos: Act with integrity to transparently educate and influence the market on the unique aspects of Ipsos’s audience and activation offering.
- Programmatic infrastructure: Partner with internal product and technical teams to ensure seamless data deployment, taxonomy management, and integration into the programmatic ecosystem.
About you:
The role requires a passionate sales lead who will accelerate and maintain revenue growth. We are seeking someone with the following attributes:
- Network: You bring an established network and strong understanding of media agencies, trading desks, programmatic buyers, and platforms, with an ability to set up meetings and convert opportunities with prospective clients immediately.
- Commercial: 10+ years in ad tech, programmatic data, or digital media sales with a proven track record of driving growth through new business and longer-term high value agreements such as trading. Strong negotiation skills that achieve winning outcomes are a must.
- Growth: You have a hunger and the tenacity to drive accelerated growth and consistently hit ambitious sales targets to grow the business.
- Persuasive: Ability to cut through the noise, engage, deal with objections, and write and deliver winning proposals that demonstrate outcomes that achieve brand / campaign objectives.
- Knowledge: You have excellent knowledge of the ad-tech industry and are an advocate for the evolving privacy landscape and future ready approaches based on geo and contextual solutions.
- Mindset: A self-starter who is hands on and execution focused. Ability to translate data into compelling commercial propositions that win.
