The rising cost of living, pressure for sustainability, global conflict, and tariffs are all changing how we shop. Against these complexities, PRS IN VIVO help brands develop sustainable habit loops. We use behavioural science to advise clients on all aspects of shopper experiences: path, pack design, product & NPD.

We are looking for an up & coming researcher able to support our growth by supporting client accounts, being a key assist on projects and adding their viewpoint to the direction of the company. We want someone who enjoys being client-facing, is willing to take initiative and has a passion for research. This role is 40 hours per week with hybrid working of 3 days in the London office and 2 from home.

Day to day

These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation, this may vary as different opportunities arise:

  • You will be heavily involved in project design, analysis, and insight generation.
  • Working with Insight Managers & Directors you will balance day-to-day project activity with client engagement, consultancy, and strategic application of insights.
  • Your role will cover four areas:

Project Management

  • Day-to-day client management, ensuring projects run smoothly, and supporting the team and collaborating with colleagues and other departments.
  • Interaction with Project Managers.
  • Responsible for managing own time.

Research & Analysis

  • Development of discussion guides and project materials, and final quality check of screeners and guides & sense checking the accuracy of recruitment & fieldwork.
  • Creating notes and identifying need for additional insight e.g. case studies and viewpoints.
  • Initial analysis of quant and qual data for key themes, and presenting these hypotheses internally.
  • Responsible for the preparation of PowerPoint reports and presentation packs.

Client Development

  • Learning client business needs.
  • Learning how to develop relationships with clients.
  • Supporting in the delivery of client presentations.
  • Learning commercial awareness, awareness of market trends and competitive pressures.

Personal & Company Development

  • Contributing to cross-group projects, content production and thought-leadership for marketing support.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, growth, new ideas and improved ways of working.
  • Committed to further professional development (including Behavioural Science).

About You

You are a passionate, creative, and curious researcher. Experienced in ad-hoc qual you enjoy building industry and methodology expertise. You can lead project milestones confidently, with support from senior members, and have exacting, high standards of research quality; attention to detail & initiative.

You’ll have a primary research competency and point of view on a variety of insight generation techniques. You should be diligent and detail-oriented. Ability to foresee potential challenges in projects and proactively tackle them. Solid, practical background in market research, ideally in FMCG research. Fluency and comfort with supporting end-to-end ad hoc research projects. Understanding of qualitative methodologies and techniques to provide input into research design. Open to learning new techniques, approaches and methodologies. Open to building successful working relationships with clients. Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritise or delegate appropriately.
