In the Ipsos Creative Excellence team, we partner with clients to put the voice of the consumer front and centre in the campaign development process. We work across the whole creative cycle, from early-stage campaign development to pre-testing and post-campaign evaluation studies. Building on several years of growth, we have ambitious targets for the future – you will play a key role in helping us meet them by:
- Ensuring we carry on expanding our ever-growing client base.
- Delivering brilliant work that helps our clients optimise their creative assets and understand the impact of their campaigns.
- Playing an important leadership role in the delivery of a wide range of projects, across a variety of clients and sectors.
We currently work with many of the world's leading brands, across a wide variety of sectors (including Entertainment, Technology, FMCG, Finance, Government, Fashion and Retail).
Day to day, these are the types of things you can expect to be doing, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation, this may vary as different opportunities arise:
- Taking a lead in account management with a focus on developing existing client relationships and getting involved in growing the business.
- Working with, and leading, key account teams to ensure client needs are met through successful delivery of high-quality fieldwork, accurate and timely data, powerful insights and recommendations, as well as ongoing project developments.
- Take active leadership for revenue generation and driving commercial success, e.g., by signing-off small proposals or contributing to larger ones to win new business and/or looking for opportunities to develop client accounts.
- Ensure the profitability of projects or elements of projects for which you are responsible.
- Working closely with clients to ensure you fully understand their business, motivations and the impact of your work. Through building great relationships you'll use your knowledge to contribute towards winning new business and growing existing accounts.
- Along with a Director, you'll lead project teams here in the UK. Part of your responsibility will include managing and motivating the project teams to ensure efficient and profitable research execution, alongside line management and development of junior members of the team. You'll also have active involvement in the recruitment of new team members.
- As some of our accounts are global, you'll work closely with our colleagues in Ipsos offices across the globe, including international fieldwork and client service teams.
This role offers hybrid working from our London office 3 days per week and the rest from home.
About You: These are the areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Experience in quantitative/qualitative market research or consumer insights at least at Research Manager level, with potential as an Associate Director.
- Proven track record of success in managing projects and client relationships.
- Experience of meeting client needs and managing client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in managing, developing, and motivating individuals and teams.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and a passion for delivering insightful results.
- Contribution to revenue generation through writing proposals, winning new business, or developing client accounts.
- Practical experience using AI-powered tools for research tasks, including data analysis platforms and automation tools.
- Solid research skills including questionnaire & study design, project processes, sampling, and basic analytical techniques.
- Commercial outlook with an ability to understand client business and promote Ipsos Client First behaviours.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Financial awareness: experience in managing finances on projects and ensuring project profitability.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of AI tools and technologies applied to market research and consumer insights.
