As a Director at Ipsos, you are a key driver of our clients\’ success. You will lead and upskill a team of talented researchers and advisors to deliver impactful insights that address complex business challenges.
Your strategic vision and deep understanding of the world of corporate communications and research will guide our clients in making informed decisions that shape their brands and drive growth. You are highly attuned to the realities and pressures clients face and their stakeholder and policy environment. You will have a track record of leading complex, large accounts of £1m+ and a proven ability to grow client relationships. You bring a strong network and experience in relationship marketing. You focus on growth and you’re able to convert opportunities into new business.
You are a recognized expert in your field with experience working with senior corporate affairs and communications professionals at the top of their game. You are actively involved in developing our next generation of Talent and showing them how insights can make a positive impact on reputation building.
Your Day to Day
These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation , this may vary as different opportunities arise:
- Leading and inspiring a team of researchers.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Driving profitable revenue through a bold, growth-oriented mindset.
- Growing client relationships and delivering value to grow Ipsos revenues.
- Developing an external profile as a Thought Leader for Ipsos (e.g., through papers, conferences, panels, etc.)
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
- Designing and executing research projects to deliver actionable insights
- Presenting findings and recommendations to clients.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and innovations.
- Staying attuned to the policy environment and headwinds clients are grappling with.
- Contributing to the development of team members.
- Demonstrating leadership and involvement in wider elements of Ipsos culture (e.g., CSR, D&I initiatives, HR, industry specific.)
- Identifying and driving improvements to company offerings, performance, and client delivery.
This role offers hybrid working from our London office 3 days per week and the rest from home.

- Strong client management and relationship building skills
- A strong history of driving account growth and building new business, along with a network built from an active external profile and visibility.
- Experience in market research, with a strong focus on reputation and research relating to corporate affairs corporate brand, policy and communications
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and analytical techniques.
- Evidence of ‘new way’ thinking (embracing and applying new methodologies applied to clients’ issues.
- Understanding and advocacy for the importance of Information Governance and Business Excellence (BES).

- In-depth understanding of the world of corporate communications and corporate affairs.
