As a Business Development Associate Director in a small, powerful team with a high output rate, you will be part of creating excitement for clients by portraying the best of what we do in an ever-growing category. This award-winning team creates the excitement and appetite for our products and services. We generate the propositions, create impactful materials, deliver the message at events (locally and globally) and then work with clients to sell it in from writing proposals to the thrill of pitching and winning business. You’ll be part of a highly successful commercial team that is driving net new opportunities across the Customer Experience team!

Day to day

  • Lead generation – Work with our lead generation team to constantly evolve our targeting list and new business messaging.
  • Incoming opportunities – Own, lead and be first response on agreed opportunities.
  • Generating Opportunities – Working with our lead generation team and our market-leading technology partners, proactively generate and identify new opportunities through to a successful completion.
  • Competitor Intelligence – Share and find competitor intelligence to support our in-house competitor stream.
  • Marketing Materials – Support the amplification of compelling market messaging.
  • Campaigns – Support our marketing team to generate pipeline.
  • Events – Professionally represent Ipsos at agreed industry events.

About You

This is not an account management or delivery role. It’s a frontline commercial hunting role with a strong focus on net new acquisition. The individual will be supported by the experienced wider commercial team, but a self-starting mindset is required.

  • Previous experience in CX or a similar CX sales role focused on net new logo wins, either SaaS or Managed Services.
  • The ability to successfully navigate organisations, find the right leverage points and build relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset, with a genuine passion for understanding client needs and delivering impactful, value-driven solutions.
  • Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in every task.
  • Creativity and innovation to think outside the box and bring fresh, impactful ideas to life.
  • Awareness of the Experience Management SaaS technology landscape.
  • An aptitude for leveraging AI tools and techniques to enhance research and insights, in line with Ipsos' standards and policies.
  • Previous Market Research experience or the ability to talk to Research techniques.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ownership – completer finisher required.
