We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at our Wrexham site. This role is accountable for delivering safe, compliant, and efficient production while fostering a strong culture of engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of high‑quality medicines to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and supply targets
- Own GMP compliance, audit readiness, and quality risk management within the department
- Drive production performance through effective resource planning, KPI management, and issue resolution
- Lead, develop, and engage Shift Managers, Team Leaders, and Operators to build high‑performing teams
- Champion continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives
- Manage departmental budgets, costs, and capacity to align with business objectives
- Significant pharmaceutical manufacturing leadership experience, with a strong track record in delivering safe, compliant, and efficient operations
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage teams while meeting tight deadlines and performance targets
- Demonstrated experience in budget and cost control within manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimisation
- Strong working knowledge of GMP, QMS, RCA/CAPA, and regulatory audit environments
