This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, while driving operational excellence and supporting team development.You will play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insight.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingOversee preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial submissionsManage, coach, and develop a team of accountants, driving performance and engagementMonitor team KPIs and ensure delivery against service levels and reporting deadlinesMaintain a robust internal control environment and support audit and compliance activitiesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and qualityKnowledge, skills and experience:Qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant with strong general accounting knowledgeStrong people management experience. A natural leader with the ability to motivate and mentor the team where necessaryExperience using accounting systems such as SAP and OracleExperience of leveraging automation in a Finance function, or desire to do so.
