Program Operational Leadership

Collaborate with the Asset Lead, Function Representatives, and Franchise Heads to develop and maintain a comprehensive asset roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall asset strategy execution, including LCM and partner activities.

Lead the evaluation of alternative development options to deliver successful programs.

Resolve program and team conflicts with a big-picture perspective, promoting innovative ideas and building on the contributions of others.
Program Operational Management

Develop and maintain a global Integrated Project Plan, capturing interdependencies across functions and deliverables, with monthly updates highlighting critical paths and upcoming milestones.

Drive cross-functional teams to prepare Target Product Profiles, delivering differentiated products under the leadership of the Asset Lead.

Maintain the Live Asset Assumptions slide, a key input for project planning, scenario analysis, risk assessment, budgeting, and valuation.

Partner with functional leads to validate assumptions and integrate functional planning into the overall program plan, covering areas such as CMC, Regulatory, Clinical, Biostatistics, Technical Operations, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Safety.

Ensure quality, risk, cost, and time are managed within the approved plan to achieve asset roadmap milestones and objectives on time and within budget.

Validate the technical integrity of the project plan, ensuring data is reviewed and discussed for informed decision-making.

Lead cross-functional monthly asset operation meetings to monitor plan execution, measure results, and align key planning assumptions with timing, risks, resources, and budget impacts.
Risk Management

Apply a comprehensive risk management methodology to proactively identify program risks and opportunities, developing and delivering appropriate contingencies and corrective actions.

Communicate effectively with Governance bodies, using risk management to underpin project strategy and delivery.

Provide an annual asset risk map to the Risk Corporate group.
Budget and Resource Management

Partner with the Asset Lead and function representatives to establish budget, resource management, and project controls.

Manage project budget and resource plans, leading budget sessions and translating board decisions into team and project budgets.

Ensure accurate recording and coding of actuals, and provide supportive materials for tax credit requests.

Support workstream leaders in maintaining up-to-date resource, cost, and schedule information for long-term planning.
Knowledge Management

Conduct "lessons learned" workshops to identify cross-functional learning and apply it across the portfolio.

Benchmark against competitors to challenge plans and decisions, using this approach to interact with governance bodies.
Communication and Reporting
