Job Description: London (Paddington) | Hybrid Working Are you looking to build a career in pharmaceutical brand management while making a meaningful difference to patients’ lives? We’re looking for a Junior Brand Manager to join our Rare Disease Business Unit, supporting the growth of innovative therapies in highly specialised areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to learn, collaborate cross‑functionally, and develop strong commercial and strategic skills within a purpose-driven environment.
About the Role As Junior Brand Manager, you will support the development and execution of tactical marketing plans that drive brand performance and customer engagement across an omnichannel landscape. Working closely with your line manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in bringing brand strategies to life while gaining exposure to the full pharmaceutical brand management cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and delivery of Rare Disease tactical and operational plans
- Assist with the execution of brand strategies and 1‑year operational plans
- Coordinate cross‑functional brand teams (Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Digital)
- Deliver customer-facing and internal marketing activities, including digital initiatives
- Monitor brand performance metrics, ROI, and campaign effectiveness
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights
- Support adaptation and execution of global campaigns for the UK market
- Ensure all marketing activities are compliant with internal policies and ABPI code
- Build strong internal relationships and engage effectively with agencies and stakeholders
You’re proactive, organised, and motivated by results. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are excited by the opportunity to develop within a specialist pharmaceutical setting.
Essential experience:- 1+ year experience in pharmaceutical marketing (specialty medicines preferred)
- Exposure to digital or omnichannel marketing projects
- Strong understanding of the UK healthcare environment
- Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with ABPI Code of Practice
- Experience in rare diseases, hepatology, or high-cost medicines
- Knowledge of market access and NHS pathways
- OCE or advanced digital marketing experience
- Life Sciences degree (or similar) – essential
- CIM and/or ABPI qualification – desirable
- Fluent English
