Role Overview: The Global Patient Safety Physician Neuroscience will support Global Patient Safety Therapeutic Area (TA) Leaders through medical and scientific analyses, data reviews, signal management, risk assessment activities, and evaluation of product quality and safety issues, including safety document contributions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proactive safety and risk management for all assigned products.
  • Be accountable for safety surveillance and assessment of integrated safety information.
  • Support safety decision-making for benefit-risk assessments.
  • Manage the safety profile proactively for assigned development and marketed products.
  • Participate as a member of Global Product Teams and Clinical Development Teams for relevant products.
  • Maintain oversight of the emerging safety profile for all TA products.
  • Support risk management activities, ensuring high-quality safety input for benefit-risk assessments.
  • Represent safety at internal and external meetings where safety issues are discussed or decisions are made.

This role requires effective medical, technical, and scientific expertise in safety data collection, evaluation, medical interpretation, and communication.

Candidate Profile: Must be a physician with proven clinical ability, exercising sound medical judgment, with strong experience in clinical development or pharmacovigilance, ideally in Neuroscience or Specialty Care. Prior experience with FDA/EMA or equivalent regulatory submissions, or working within a Regulatory Agency reviewing submissions or clinical trial applications, is essential.
