The Global Business Ethics Director leads the company’s global Anti-Corruption and Business Ethics Third Party Programs, ensuring compliance with international laws, regulations, and industry best practices while promoting a strong culture of integrity across all functions and geographies.
Responsibilities
- As a strategic partner to senior leadership, the role provides governance, oversight, and expert guidance on ethics and compliance matters, with a particular focus on third-party risk management, program governance, training, monitoring, and reporting.
- The position is responsible for defining and driving program strategy, overseeing global third-party due diligence processes and systems, and continuously enhancing best-in-class frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory and business expectations.
- The Global Business Ethics Director serves as the primary point of contact for senior management and governance bodies, leads cross-functional committees, manages key external vendors, and supports external program certifications.
- The role also ensures the effective communication and deployment of Anti-Corruption and Third Party standards worldwide, supports the development of training for employees and third parties, and oversees program monitoring, analytics, and reporting.
- Regular insights and risk assessments are provided to senior management to enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of Ethics and Compliance experience within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a proven ability to manage complex ethical and compliance risks in a global, cross-functional environment are essential.
- Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
