As the Insights and Analytics Manager, you will join a high‑performing team responsible for executing critical business excellence workstreams. Your focus will be on turning data into actionable insights to continually improve our customer experience, drive revenue growth, and stay ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clear understanding of Ipsen strategies, brands and competitor products, playing a proactive part in developing the local implementation of Business Excellence strategy and delivery.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the overall market and specific therapy areas based on internal and external environmental factors, providing clear insight, benefit and recommendations.
  • Create and ensure the effective use of forecasting models that provide products with a thorough understanding of the size, depth and breadth of the market, including factors such as patient numbers, to enable accurate forecasting and revenue aspirations to support the annual planning process.
  • By keeping an externally focused customer mindset, identify trends and create models to estimate future circumstances within the therapy areas and lead the setting of stretching commercial targets to achieve UK/I performance goals.
  • Working closely with the Business Excellence Manager and Business Intelligence Manager, manage the capture and management of all data sources, both internal and external, to integrated global/local systems, including master data management.
  • Develop and refine data management processes to create high levels of data accuracy and governance, identifying new additional data sources to enable dynamic insights within the business where available.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Business Excellence function to leverage, optimise and fully utilise core group assets and resources, working with colleagues from other areas of the business, including IT, to deliver tailored local solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of ability to work at a strategic level, by driving solutions and recommendations that enable commercial decision making.
  • Understanding of source and specifics of external pharmaceutical market data (e.g. IQVIA).
  • Prior experience in forecasting, commercial analytics or business analysis experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of performing complex statistical analysis that leads to actionable information; making sound business decisions to support overall strategy.
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience.
