Job Description: At Ipsen, we create real impact every day for patients and society. We’re looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our Wrexham site, supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of our people through high-quality, compliant occupational health services. This is a part-time fixed-term contract running until 31 December 2026, based onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).
What you’ll do:
- Deliver onsite occupational health services, providing expert advice on fitness for work and workplace adjustments
- Manage employee caseloads, including pre-employment checks, health surveillance and sickness absence support
- Provide mental health support, early intervention and guidance to employees and managers
- Respond to workplace injuries and acute health issues, ensuring appropriate care and referral
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records and produce clear reports for stakeholders
- Support wellbeing initiatives and promote a proactive health and safety culture across site
- Collaborate with HR, EHS and external partners to ensure compliant, consistent service delivery
What you’ll bring:
- Registered Nurse with Occupational Health qualification and experience in a workplace setting
- Strong clinical knowledge across health surveillance, fitness-for-work assessments and absence management
- Confidence supporting mental health and employee wellbeing in a professional environment
- Ability to manage workload independently while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and compliance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, proactive approach
