Are you passionate about technology and its impact on manufacturing? We're looking for an OT Support Engineer to play a vital role in supporting the systems that keep our site running efficiently and ensure the continuous supply of products to patients. Working closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams, you'll provide technical expertise across manufacturing and laboratory systems, helping to maintain system reliability, drive continuous improvement, and support exciting investment and automation projects across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for manufacturing and laboratory IT/OT systems to ensure reliability, compliance, and performance.
- Troubleshoot critical issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive effective resolutions.
- Support system lifecycle activities including validation, maintenance, disaster recovery, and obsolescence management.
- Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing and laboratory systems that enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality support and project outcomes.
- Contribute to capital projects through system design, testing, commissioning, qualification, and handover activities.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Good communication skills.
- Able to keep multiple stakeholders informed
- Regulatory knowledge e.g. GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR11, EU ANNEX 11.
- Ideally experience gained in the pharma industry
