iPeople SC Solutions is recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to work for our client based in Derby and the surrounding areas.
Our client is looking for experienced children's residential support workers who can work either the day and night shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting young people with their daily routine
- Attending regular liaison meetings with appropriate partners/interested parties.
- Ensuring that all provision meets relevant and appropriate health and safety requirements.
- Having due regard to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and to follow the child protection procedures.
- Providing high-quality care in a safe, stimulating environment
- Ensuring that all provision meets relevant and appropriate health and safety requirements.
- Working flexibly and to undertake shift work, including early shifts, late shifts, and weekends.

- Flexibility and resourceful
- Strongly developed organisation skills
- Emotional resilience
- Previous experience in a special needs environment/school would be desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
