IPS is a specialist supplier to the live events industry, providing staging, rigging, lighting, video, sound, and power distribution equipment on both a dry hire and full production basis. The company maintains extensive stocks of Litestructures LiteDeck, Layher Event Deck, and Prolyte outdoor roof systems and truss, supporting a wide range of event scales and formats. IPS focuses on reliable equipment, professional service, and efficient logistics to meet tight event timelines. Team members work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where safety, organization, and attention to detail are critical to successful event delivery.
Role Description
This key role reports directly to the Operations Director and is responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the IPS warehouse and yard operation. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that all rental equipment is accurately managed, maintained, prepared, dispatched and returned in accordance with company standards and client requirements. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse and yard staff, inventory control, equipment logistics, vehicle movements within the IPS yard, health and safety and operational processes within the warehouse and yard environment. The role ensures that equipment is prepared to the highest standards, operational deadlines are achieved, and warehouse and yard activities support the wider commercial and operational objectives of IPS.
Working closely with Project Managers, the Service Department, Transport Team and other operational departments, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining efficiency, quality, compliance and safety across all warehouse functions. The role is operationally focused, requiring strong leadership, attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
