A long-established independent firm of chartered accountants is looking to strengthen its tax team with the appointment of an experienced tax professional. This is a genuine succession opportunity, working alongside an experienced Tax Director, you'll receive the support and exposure needed to develop into a senior position, taking responsibility for both advisory and compliance work across a varied client portfolio.

The firm has built an outstanding reputation over many years with exceptional retention rates. Working as part of a four-person tax team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of personal and corporate tax matters, including:

  • Personal and corporate tax compliance
  • Tax planning and advisory work
  • Managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Building relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser
  • Working alongside the Tax Director with a clear succession plan into a senior role

The client base is diverse and established, including:

  • Sole traders and owner-managed businesses
  • High net worth individuals, including clients with multi-million pound and nine-figure wealth
  • UK companies with turnovers in the centi-millions

Applications are welcomed from candidates at a range of levels, including those studying towards CTA through to fully CTA qualified professionals and salary will be reflective of experience with £40,000 - £60,000 as a ballpark.
