An international professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join its in-house Tax team. Based in either Leeds or Manchester, this is a hybrid role with an expectation of c.23 days per week in the office. We are looking for someone who has gained tax experience and has qualified in tax in Ireland. Working as part of a specialist Partnership Tax team, the successful candidate will take ownership of tax affairs for Irish-qualified partners, alongside broader responsibilities across European and UK direct tax compliance. The role involves close collaboration with international finance teams and external advisers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions. This is a varied and visible position that will suit an individual who is confident engaging with senior stakeholders and keen to develop their expertise within an international setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Irish tax returns for partners and their related interests
  • Preparation of UK tax returns for profits allocated to European partners from the UK
  • Modelling tax obligations, profit allocations and cash forecasts for new, existing and retiring partners
  • Preparation and review of schedules and analysis supporting corporate and partnership tax filings
  • Managing relationships with international external tax advisers and local finance teams
