Due to continued growth our Bardon site are now recruiting for an Operations & Transport Planner on a full time permanent basis.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating.
As an Operations & Transport Planner you will be responsible for the movement of Goods in and Goods out of the Warehouse and the Planning of Transport.
Key Duties of an Operations & Transport Planner:
- Coordinate the flow of Goods, both In and Out of the Warehouse in line with the Production Plan and Order Schedule.
- Work closely with 3rd Party Transport providers to monitor, coordinate and execute daily deliveries and collections in line with the inbound and outbound schedule.
- Load Planning and the allocation of goods to loads.
- Ensure the smooth planning of inbound stocks, outbound stocks and vehicles present do not exceed the capacity of the site.
- Ensure that scheduled delivery dates are kept updated and display accurate information on all Systems.
- Control, Ordering and Reporting of Pallets in line with the Production Plan and Order Schedule to ensure all Orders are fulfilled where possible.
- Supporting training to allow for site and team growth.
Qualifications:
- Experienced in a Warehouse environment servicing a food related customer or service.
- Working knowledge of stock administration duties.
- Experience of working in a customer led environment with changing priorities.
- Advanced Level Spreadsheet skills and problem analysis.
- Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
