IPS Group is working with a leading global insurer to bring in a Senior P&C Underwriter in Chelmsford. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise across P&C underwriting who wants to further develop and take the next step with a global insurer.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead complex underwriting as a senior authority holder
- Win and retain major accounts across property and/or casualty
- Build powerful broker relationships in the regional market
- Drive intelligent new business growth and support multinational opportunities
- Collaborate across the business to deliver exceptional service and performance
What we’re looking for:
- Technical expertise across property and casualty insurance (casualty preference but open to either)
- Strong broker connections across the South East (Essex/ Kent etc)
- Ability to mentor and train new and existing staff
- Eye on current market trends and insights
- New or existing business underwriters considered
