Regional Engineer – East Midlands Region

Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, the Regional Engineer will ensure the implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks and improvements across the East Midlands Region.

To provide solutions to reduce costs and improve plant efficiencies.

You will provide support to sites across our Ambient division and one chilled site (DC420 – Rugby, Desborough, Crick, Bardon and 3 sites in Lutterworth).

Can be based at either of these sites however travel will be required.

Vehicle for business use will be provided.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.

  • Ownership of specific jobs/projects through to successful completion.
  • Perform fault diagnosis leading to resolution of random failures on production machinery, identifying root cause in repair process.
  • Carrying out planned maintenance tasks as part of a preventative maintenance strategy.
  • Complete risk assessments/method statements to ensure safe running of all factory equipment and processes.
  • Identify and report all stock/spares issues.
  • Liaise with production on plant outages to ensure minimum downtime of production equipment.
  • Prioritise own workload with consideration to output, product quality and line efficiency.
  • Proactive approach to identify improvements to increase line and machinery efficiencies.
  • Complete all line checks and documentation as required.
  • Assist in the training and development of new starters.
  • Act as a role model for best practice.
  • Monitor, control and minimise waste.
  • Play an active part in continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the company\'s PDP program.
  • Act as specialist for machinery knowledge.
  • Drive own personal development through training and work‑based experience.
  • Manage the output of assigned production and effectively deal with issues as and when they arise.
