Job Description
We are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join IPS at our Saint Helens site, supporting co-packing and manufacturing operations for some of the UK’s leading retailers and FMCG organisations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, fast-paced operation where you will play a key role in providing essential engineering expertise to support Operations in reducing and eliminating downtime.
Ideally, we are looking for a mechanical biased Maintenance Engineer and the role will involve both proactive and reactive maintenance across a food processing/FMCG site. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 06:00.
Salary: Up to £48,000
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Identifying and resolving any potential issues before they cause failures.
- Respond rapidly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose the problems and perform repairs.
