We are now currently recruiting for a Line Leader on a Full Time basis at our IPS Markham Vale 1 site.
Job Description
Shift: Monday-Friday rotation shift (06:00am-14:00pm and 14:00pm-22:00pm rotating weekly).Salary: £14.01 per hour.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following: To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targetsEnsure the final product meets client specifications (SPI)To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basisEffectively use the integrated management system (Vision)To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulationsTo ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company proceduresTo ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and externalTo ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered toTo liaise with agency controllers on a day to day basis providing feedback regarding agency workersTo attend team leader meetingsTo assist in the training and development of new startersTo act as a role model for best practiceMonitor, control and minimise wastePlay an active part in continuous improvementTo conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews as requiredTo participate in the companies appraisal systemDrive own personal development through training and work based experienceTo undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the postQualifications Experience of working within a manufacturing/production/FMCG environmentOrganizational and leadership abilitiesSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachProblem-solving skillsAbility to communicate in a positive and clear mannerMeet standards required for internal and external auditsUse of integrated management systemLine targetsLabour managementQualityH&SWaste targetsAdditional Information As part of the team at IPS you will receive: Competitive SalaryCompetitive Holiday AllowanceOvertime OpportunitiesCompany Pension SchemeFull Branded UniformEmployee Benefit Platform; discounts on high street retailers, holidays, activities, utilitiesLearning and Development OpportunitiesWhy wait, join our winning team today!
