We are seeking 2 Project Co‑ordinators for our established Connect to Work delivery team, to support a team of our Employment Support Officers to deliver Employment Support using the IPS Fidelity model. The project delivers high quality person‑centred employment support to a range of individuals such as those seeking work, people in work or off work due to sickness. They may be experiencing challenges like homelessness, disability, mental health conditions, but is not limited to these.
The successful candidates will have experience of supporting a staff team to deliver Employment Support projects and understand the tools and models available to maximise performance. They will be knowledgeable, proactive and understanding of Employment Support, the Well Being offer and caseload management techniques. They will be able to facilitate good employer and stakeholder engagement to broker referral pathways and job outcomes along with integration within Primary Care, Job Centre Plus etc. The roles will cover the whole borough, with main bases in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich and Winsford. Travel will be required for all roles.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high‑quality employment support for residents across Cheshire West and Chester. You will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of the programme, ensuring services align with the Connect to Work processes and IPS (Individual Placement and Support) Fidelity model, while maintaining a strong focus on outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure adherence to Connect to Work processes and IPS Fidelity model across the team
- Allocate referrals and manage caseload distribution effectively
- Conduct regular caseload reviews to ensure quality and performance
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to staff team members
- Lead on the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development and training of staff
- Support the delivery across Skills and Employment Hubs as required
- Oversee and maintain high‑quality service delivery to best meet the needs of residents
- Work collaboratively across the Skills and Employment Service, understanding all elements of delivery and supporting where needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Primary Care Networks and internal teams to create effective referral pathways
- Represent the service at community meetings, promoting Connect to Work and the wider Skills and Employment offer
- Collaborate with other Project Co‑ordinators to ensure residents are directed to the most appropriate service and locality team
- Has experience of coordinating or managing employment, skills, or support services
- Demonstrates strong leadership and team supervision skills
- Understands (or is willing to learn) the IPS model and person‑centred approaches
- Can build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Is highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Is proactive, flexible, and solution‑focused in their approach
- Has excellent communication and engagement skills
