An exciting opportunity for 2 individuals to join one of the South East’s leading suppliers of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services. A four year Level 3 programme offering the training to become a fully skilled Mechanical Fitter/Machinist upon completion of your apprenticeship.

Wage: £16,640 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices. Please note that there are annual incremental increases.

Training course: Engineering maintenance technician - single discipline (level 3)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30. 40 hours a week

Duration: 4 years

What you'll do at work:

  • Dismantling and reassembly of mechanical rotating equipment
  • Inspection and measuring of parts for overhaul
  • Mechanical fault finding on rotating equipment
  • Carry out refurbishment in a controlled workshop environment
  • Manufacturing bespoke parts to use for overhaul

Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
