An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join an established business based in Wakefield. The role sits within a small finance function and is responsible for producing timely, accurate management information. You will work closely with operational leads to improve reporting around business performance, income and resource utilisation, bringing greater visibility to profitability and cashflow.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with meaningful variance analysis and commentary
- Reporting on income, profitability and performance by service line
- Monitoring WIP, accruals and deferred income, ensuring appropriate recognition and controls
- Budgeting, cost tracking and margin review
- Producing cashflow forecasts and working capital reporting
