A Wakefield based consultancy business are looking to appoint an experienced accounts manager to oversee the accounts function for their owner managed SME. The accounts manager will be a hands-on role overseeing all day to day finance duties, interacting with operations, and act as point of contact for the MD on all finance related matters.
Duties will include:
- Full ownership of the finance function for an owner managed SME
- Monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Nominal ledger control, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Sales and purchase ledger management including payments and credit control
- Bank reconciliations and cashflow reporting
- VAT returns and HMRC liaison
- Payroll processing or oversight
- Budgeting, variance analysis and ad hoc reporting to the owner
About you:
- Broad exposure to transactional finance and management accounting within an SME business
- QBE or AAT Qualified
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
