Our client is a large global insurer with an established underwriting team within the engineering space. Due to internal development, a position has arisen for a new underwriter headcount. Ideally, you should have an EAR underwriting background already, keen to continue to grow your technical expertise across a global portfolio of business.
This is a technical underwriting opportunity; an education within the engineering remit is required. If you perhaps aren’t currently working in underwriting but have a claims, risk management or inspection background with an engineering focus (civil/mechanical engineering/petrochemicals), this role could open up a route into underwriting.
